Welcome to Color Works Tattoo!

In 2006, Color Works Tattoo opened its doors and was established in the lower level of the Valley West Mall, in West Des Moines, Iowa; making it one of the very first full service tattoo studios in a major shopping mall. After 15 years and many remodels, it was time for Color Works to expand and we needed a new home. October 1st of 2021, Color Works made its new home at 2741 100th Street in Urbandale, Iowa.

Winning multiple best tattoo shop awards and hosting a number of award winning artists as the years have come and gone, one thing remains true and the same as day one here at Color Works; we are here to help you be DISTINCTIVELY DIFFERENT in a CLEAN, SAFE, PROFESSIONAL environment.
